This site is a demonstration of the project 'SAE', an experimental Amiga emulator in pure javascript and HTML5.

A newly published patent application filed by Sony outlines a content protection system that would use small RFID chips embedded on game discs to prevent used games from being played on its systems, all without requiring an online connection. Filed in September and still awaiting approval from the US Patent Office, the patent application for an "electronic content processing system, electronic content processing method, package of electronic content, and use permission apparatus" describes a system "that reliably restricts the use of electronic content dealt in the second-hand markets."

Quelles conclusions ? La frange de la population avec un IMC compris entre 25 et 30, considérée en surpoids, a une mortalité inférieure de 6 % par rapport à celle avec un poids normal, avec un IMC compris entre 18,5 et 25. Pour les obésités modérées (IMC entre 30 et 35), leurs chances de survie sont identiques à la tranche saine de la population. En revanche, dès que l’IMC dépasse 35, les risques de mourir augmentent de 29 %.

Special Report It's that time of year again. As the Christmas lights go up, Wikipedia's donation drive kicks off. Wikipedia claims that the donations are needed to keep the site online. Guilt-tripped journalists including Heather Brooke and Toby Young have contributed to Wikipedia in the belief that donations help fund operating costs. Students, who are already heavily in debt, are urged to donate in case Wikipedia "disappears".
